Wedding Party Report

Golden Week, when loved ones gathered from their respective locations.
Despite the rain forecast, the sky that spread across Kobe that day was clear and sunny.

What the two of you cherished leading up to this day was
Properly put into words the gratitude for family and friends that is often difficult to express in everyday life.
Creating a time when the guest can be the star.
To make it a day where you can directly convey your feelings while enjoying conversation and taking photos.

Let me introduce you to a day that truly reflects the feelings and memories of the two of you.

How we met

During my university years, we discovered we had things in common.
The couple's relationship began when they went out together with the groom's friends.
From there, the groom's unwavering feelings for six months came to fruition.
They maintained a long-distance relationship between Tokyo and Osaka and got married on their 5th anniversary.

Why did you choose THE ORIENT?

Up until now, the bride has always consulted with her mother before making important decisions.
The bride decided on THE ORIENT the moment she visited.

The building has a sense of grandeur while maintaining a clean and tidy atmosphere.
A sense of glamour within a classical atmosphere
What the bride fell in love with most was the pink lobby and
The Royal Ballroom: A beautiful fusion of Japanese and Western styles.

Learn about the history of this hotel, which was the first Western-style hotel in Japan.
The groom also decided, "This is the place."

Bride's Styling

Dress: Monique Lhuillier
A dress made of multiple layers of soft tulle.
Delicate embroidery at the neckline and ample fullness
It adds a touch of cuteness to classic beauty.

With a slightly longer-than-usual veil paired with short gloves
She, holding a bouquet of peonies she’d chosen because she admired the heroine of her favorite drama, looked utterly enchanting.
The attire blends naturally with the classic atmosphere of The Royal Ballroom.

Family Meet

The father of the bride saw his daughter in her wedding dress.
Her father, who usually doesn't show tears…
The moment I saw her in that dress, I was the first to burst into tears.

Seeing their family's joy, the two of them couldn't hold back their tears either.

Wedding Ceremony

The moment the chapel doors opened, what the bride saw was
A sunlit chapel and the presence of cherished guests.
"I'm certain this is the most beautiful scenery I've ever seen."

Before the jacket ceremony and veil-down
By reading aloud the introduction of the parents that the host and the two of them had prepared together,
It was also a time for our guests to get to know our family better.

"Walking down the aisle with my father has been my dream since I was a child," said the bride.
She walks down the aisle, hand in hand, the same aisle she practiced walking down with her father the day before.

And then the moment the bride's father entrusts the bride's arm to the groom.
The hug exchanged between the groom and his father, who normally never hug,
Everyone in the venue felt like they were becoming family.

Letter Ceremony

Each guest received a letter before the wedding ceremony.
I wrote down my thoughts and feelings of gratitude, which I don't usually get to express, to each and every person.

The couple was wondering when they should have it opened.
A letter ceremony suggested by the planner.

Then, before the vows were spoken, everyone in the venue simultaneously opened their letters.

Laughing person
A person wiping away tears
People who show things to their friends next door

The person reacted exactly as the two of them had predicted, saying, "This is how this person would surely react."
It spread out before my eyes.

I felt like we understood each other.
A memorable time for both of you and your guests.

vows

They thought it over together and chose our words carefully.
They included specific anecdotes that convey the unique personalities of the two .

The actual performance after many rehearsals
Even the groom, who already knew what was coming, could hardly hold back his tears as he listened to the bride's words.
It was a time when every word touched my heart.

"I've never heard such beautiful vows before."
"A wedding ceremony in front of people is lovely, isn't it?"

We received such kind words from our guests.

Paper Item

The items on the table are arranged to match the floral design concept.
Paper items in white and green
The menu is decorated with a large, beautiful ribbon.
The design was created by the bride's sister, making it a one-of-a-kind item.

The profile book is a labor of love, primarily designed by the groom.
Designed with a magazine-like layout, prioritizing readability.
We received positive feedback from our guests.

By handing them out at the reception, guests were able to reflect on the couple's journey together even before the wedding ceremony.

We value creating a time where the guests themselves can be the stars.

From the wedding ceremony to the reception and after-party
The couple made it a point to put into words the feelings they usually can't express.

It's a warm and intimate time spent with loved ones,
I pictured a maturely cute day that didn’t feel too casual.

Flower coordination by JIELI

"I fell in love with JIELI at first sight because they create a truly unique space for us."

The theme is an overseas atmosphere, cuteness, and sophistication.
The venue's floral arrangements incorporated plenty of my favorite peonies in pink and green.
The main table was designed in a sofa style to bring the guests closer together.
It will decorate the space, reminiscent of an English garden.

The Royal Ballroom blends Japanese and Western aesthetics.
A unique and one-of-a-kind space was created just for the two of you.

Cake bite

I had it made with a vintage feel and cuteness in mind.
The wedding cake of my dreams

"The whole venue came together, creating a warm atmosphere for the cake cutting ceremony."
For the "Thanks Bite," each participant nominated a friend and shared a memorable story."

Surprise escort exit

The bride held hands with her younger sister, a decision she had made in her heart since the wedding was decided.
The groom was escorted out by his younger brother and sister.

Dress-up entrance

One of the scenes that left a particularly strong impression on me

"Using a song that holds special memories for the two of us, the look on the guests' faces the moment the door opened"
I was truly happy that all the guests clapped along and made the event so lively.
I started crying as soon as I entered.
I felt so warmly celebrated by all the guests."

Guest Interview

It stems from the couple’s strong desire to speak directly and sincerely with each and every guest.
A time for leisurely conversation, with no entertainment provided.

In interviews with friends who have walked alongside him through each era,
The previously unknown personalities and anecdotes of the two will be revealed, spreading warm laughter throughout the room.

Enjoy taking photos and chatting to your heart’s content around the Takasago table.
A warm, cherished time unfolded, with every guest in the spotlight.

A letter of appreciation for parenting to parents

At the end of the reception, the couple presented their parents with a certificate of appreciation for raising them, which they had designed and created from scratch.
The moment he received it, the bride's father burst into tears.
It was only when reviewing the footage later that they noticed that figure. Only upon later reviewing the footage did one notice that appearance. It was only after watching the footage back later that the figure was noticed.
Different emotions than those felt on that day well up in both of your hearts.

Last scene

The song chosen for the final exit was a bright and cheerful one.
While saying "thank you" to all the guests
I want to end the day with a smile.
It was filled with the feelings of both of them.

Changing dress

Dress: Monique Lhuillier Bliss
A dress lavishly adorned with embroidered lace.

A mermaid silhouette that beautifully follows the lines of the body
The high neck and long sleeves add a touch of elegance.
Elegant front design and
The contrasting design with a back-conscious element is striking.

Their thoughts after the party

"As I went through the preparations, I realized once again how much support I receive from my family and friends."
On that day, feelings of gratitude that are not often expressed will be shared.
I was so happy to be able to deliver it to the people I care about.
"It was the most moving wedding I've ever seen," and "It was clear that the couple cherishes their family and friends."
We received many messages of congratulations even after the wedding.
I felt that what we wanted to convey had truly been received.
It was the happiest day of my life."

To the bride-to-be who will be getting married soon

"I believe that a wedding at The Orient, created in collaboration with professionals, can truly fulfill your dreams."
The encounters we had with various staff members were invaluable to us.
I hope you'll talk a lot, think things through, and create a truly unique wedding.
And I think the preparation period will be an opportunity to get to know each other's strengths better.
I hope you enjoy your time here."
